Findings
Onboarding skippable — core feature requires completed profile
Users can skip onboarding entirely. The primary feature requires a complete profile to function. Skipping results in a dead-end experience with no visible recovery path — app appears broken to new users.
Affected
iOS + Android — Onboarding → Core feature
Fix effort
LowRecommended fix
Gate core feature access with a clear setup prompt, or make the required onboarding steps non-skippable with visible progress indication.
"AI-powered" search returns hardcoded static results
The search feature is prominently labeled "AI-powered recommendations." Build analysis shows all results are identical static data regardless of query input. This constitutes misleading representation of app functionality — a direct App Store guideline violation.
Affected
iOS + Android — Search screen
Fix effort
HighRecommended fix
Connect to a real backend or relabel as demo/beta. Do not ship misleading AI feature claims against static outputs.
Apple Sign-In required but missing from auth flow
App includes third-party login (Google OAuth) for account creation on iOS but does not offer Apple Sign-In. This is a mandatory App Store requirement for any app offering third-party login.
Affected
iOS — Login screen
Fix effort
MediumRecommended fix
Implement Apple Sign-In via AuthenticationServices framework and surface it as a primary login option alongside Google OAuth.
Stripe publishable key exposed in client-side JavaScript bundle
A Stripe publishable key was found hardcoded in the compiled JavaScript bundle. Exposure in a public build combined with unrestricted API access creates a fraud surface.
Affected
All platforms — JS bundle
Fix effort
LowRecommended fix
Move key to environment variable. Restrict Stripe key permissions via Stripe dashboard. Rotate the exposed key immediately.
Interactive icon buttons missing accessible labels across multiple screens
Multiple icon-only buttons (share, settings, close, favorites) do not have associated accessibility labels. These elements are invisible to VoiceOver and TalkBack screen readers — a systematic gap in generated UI.
Affected
iOS + Android — Multiple screens
Fix effort
LowRecommended fix
Add accessibilityLabel (iOS) or contentDescription (Android) to all interactive icon elements.
Primary subscription CTA leads to blank payment screen
The main upgrade button routes to a payment screen that fails to load pricing data in the production build. No error state is shown — the screen renders blank. Users who attempt to upgrade encounter a silent failure.
Affected
iOS + Android — Dashboard → Upgrade flow
Fix effort
MediumRecommended fix
Add error state and retry logic. Validate payment provider SDK initialization in production environment before release.
Missing privacy nutrition label declarations for location data
The app requests location permissions at runtime but the App Store Connect privacy nutrition label does not declare location data collection. This discrepancy is flagged during App Store review.
Affected
iOS — App Store Connect metadata
Fix effort
LowRecommended fix
Update App Store Connect privacy declarations to include precise and approximate location under the correct data use categories.
